Reverb

White key 13. From a room to a long wash; the tail rings on after you let go.

The white keys from above, the reverb lit on key 13; its knobs 1 to 4 are decay, diffusion, tone, ducking

Knob Page 1 Page 2
1 Decay (default 60%) Freeze: the input shut and the room held (default off)
2 Diffusion (default 60%) Pre-delay: up to 250 ms before the room starts (default none)
3 Tone: dark to open (default 60%) Band: what goes in, right a low cut, left a high cut
4 Ducking: the room ducks under what you play (default off) Level: the room’s level, off at the bottom, then -36 dB to +12 dB (default 0 dB, at 3/4)
  • It gets the inserts’ output and the delay’s echoes, so the echoes are reverberated while both are on.
  • Its first diffusion moves a little all the time, as in Mutable Instruments’ Clouds and Elements, so the same hit rings a little differently each time: a smooth tail rather than a metallic one.
  • Freeze holds the room as it is, highs and all, quiet or loud, for as long as it’s on. Held for many minutes, a faint hiss rises under it. While frozen, the room moves half as much, so a held tone stays clear rather than drifting.
  • LEDs: the key is teal; the knobs go teal to purple. On page 2, knob 4’s LED shows the room coming back (see Page 2).
